🚨 Security: Felix Fan warns that DarkSword puts cryptocurrency wallets at risk through iOS vulnerabilities, and urges users to update to the latest version.
🚨 URGENT:
Hackers are draining cryptocurrency wallets on iPhones — at least $4.16 million has been stolen.
A single malicious webpage may be enough to compromise a vulnerable iPhone.
New blockchain research from Bitquery has revealed:
💰 $4.06 million in USDT stolen from 365 TRON wallets between October 5 and November 4, 2026.
• 43 collection wallets linked to a single fee wallet
• 65 additional wallets drained across 8 other blockchains
• At least $103,000 more stolen outside TRON
• One victim’s iPhone theft was matched to blockchain transactions.
The attack method is suspected to involve sophisticated iOS exploit kits such as DarkSword, capable of exploiting security vulnerabilities to extract sensitive information, including cryptocurrency wallet data.
And it gets worse:
🔴 DarkSword: six exploits used to compromise vulnerable iPhones.
🔴 Coruna: 23 exploits across five exploit chains, targeting older iOS versions.
These attacks can steal sensitive data without requiring victims to connect their wallets, sign transactions, or approve transfers.
⚠️ Protect yourself:
• Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version.
• Don’t store seed phrases in photos, notes, or screenshots.
