⚠️🇰🇷 South Korean crypto exchange Gopax urgently halts trading and withdrawals
The exchange received a letter threatening a hack and suspended crypto trading, deposits, and withdrawals as a security measure. Users’ assets are being transferred from hot wallets to cold wallets.
🔐 Gopax says no actual hack or theft of funds has been recorded. It is not yet known when operations will resume.
Other South Korean exchanges, including Upbit and Bithumb, have already warned users of possible restrictions on transfers to Gopax.
