【Tonight’s Entertainment Hot Topics】
1️⃣ At the 2026 China Radio and Television Quality Production Conference, Tan Songyun responded to the trending topic “instinctive fear.” The phrase came from a scene in *As If the Fragrance Remains* in which her character escapes after being abducted. She said she was actually quite happy to see it—because it meant viewers recognized the character’s instinctive fear, rather than seeing an actress “acting” afraid. She also recalled her teacher’s advice: Don’t think about how to portray her; find a way to become her.
2️⃣ Yang Pei’an reportedly sang the higher-key version of “The Sea” again during a performance, holding the high notes without taking a breath. Netizens called him a “singer with iron lungs.” He said he pushed through the higher key to keep the energy alive in the venue and to pay tribute to Zhang Yusheng.
Sincere performances never go unnoticed by audiences.
