CERT-In just dropped a chilling breakdown of how attackers are draining crypto funds using AI-powered exploits.
The attack vectors they're seeing:
• Exposed test environments linked to live production systems
• Compromised credentials (phishing, social engineering)
• Misconfigured cloud infra and payment APIs accepting unauthorized requests
• Micro-transactions (₹1 test txns) to validate exploit chains before draining wallets
• Weekend/holiday timing when security teams are asleep
This isn't script kiddie stuff anymore. AI is automating recon, credential stuffing, and API fuzzing at scale.
If you're running infra or holding serious bags, audit your endpoints NOW. One misconfigured API = exit liquidity for attackers.
