Live trading, day 67. First, a confession: ETH plunged from 2,424 to 2,206, and I didn’t add a single short position—I just sat there watching.

It was almost five in the afternoon, and the screen was blindingly green. U.S. stocks were weakening, and the entire crypto market came under pressure. Ξ ETH was down 8% over 24 hours, with trading volume above 900 million U. The drop was anything but subtle. My system showed a 4-hour sideways market, and there was actually a bearish signal in the middle of it. I hesitated for half a minute and didn’t act. Now I’m still stubbornly holding my existing position.

BTC wasn’t doing much better, just grinding back and forth. SOL, DOGE, and the other coins crowded with retail traders were in even worse shape. Just watching them made me wince for everyone involved. Honestly, my system’s “sideways” call today reads like a meaningless platitude. After a drop like this, what’s sideways about it? I admit it—my judgment was too weak.

At this point, would you cut your spot position and wait for a lower entry, or hold on and wait for a rebound?
