Afternoon market update | $BTC $ETH both plunge
16:47 (Beijing time): $BTC is around $75,628, down about 6.0% over 24 hours. It has fallen from around $80,449 in a day, breaking below the $80,000 mark. $ETH is around $2,227, down about 7.9% over 24 hours, also falling below $2,300.
The chart shows price movements over the past 24 hours (CoinGecko data). My view hasn’t changed: don’t chase, don’t try to call the bottom. I’m staying out and watching for now, first to see whether it can hold around $75,500. With 100x leverage, this kind of volatility can wipe out several percentage points of margin in a day. Staying in the game matters more than catching the bottom.
Are you watching from the sidelines, or have you already made a move?
