Storage-chain stocks take the hardest hit; Nvidia falls just 6%
Crypto-linked stocks fell almost across the board today, with the steepest losses not among the leaders, but in the storage chain.
SanDisk closed at $860.04, down 14.85% in 24 hours, with about $93.67 million in trading volume—the highest of the group. It hit an intraday low of $794.03, then rebounded 8% from that level. Micron closed at $686.88, down 11.47%, with about $29.37 million in volume, also recovering from its low of $649.69. Nvidia closed at $185.57, down 6.42%, with about $35.63 million in volume—the smallest drop of the three.
The losses broadly follow the supply chain: the closer to storage, the heavier the selling pressure; the leading compute-power stock proved more resilient. Leveraged products amplified the trend even more: a 3x leveraged semiconductor fund fell 26.05%, with $98.84 million in volume—nearly twice SanDisk’s decline.
Binance stock tokens are tradable 24 hours a day and track the share prices of the corresponding companies. They are not the same as owning the underlying shares and carry no voting rights. Volatility is high; this is not investment advice.
Which do you favor: a recovery in the storage chain, or the resilience of leading stocks?
