When markets are swept up in election fervor, true long-term investors vote with their feet.

Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz recently weighed in: the so-called “Blue Wave” (a sweeping Democratic victory in the election) has indeed put pressure on the company, but conflating political cycles with long-term fundamentals is one of the easiest mistakes for investors to make.

His core argument has two parts, neither of which will change depending on who enters the White House:
First, finance is moving on-chain—a structural migration spanning multiple administrations and market cycles.
Second, AI demand is surging, and the gaps in computing power, electricity, and infrastructure are only beginning to widen.

Galaxy also said it would work with the new administration, focusing on essential infrastructure such as reliable power, water conservation, and community development.

The most striking part comes at the end: Novogratz said bluntly that GLXY’s current share price is severely disconnected from the company’s actual value, and announced that he would personally increase his holdings starting today. When management puts its own money on the line, it’s more persuasive than any research report.

In the short term, watch sentiment; in the long term, watch the trends. On-chain finance and AI are two generational themes worth keeping on the long-term watchlist.
