🤖 Anthropic’s IPO valuation is being pushed down—is the AI bubble debate back?

Anthropic’s S-1 filing, updated on November 2, shows third-quarter revenue of about $16.96 billion, up roughly 47% quarter over quarter—but well below the 144% growth in the second quarter. According to The Wall Street Journal, some institutional investors have suggested an IPO valuation of $1.5–$1.6 trillion, below the roughly $2 trillion figure that had previously circulated.

📋 Key figures in the filing
• Q3 net loss of $23.29 billion, with about 94% attributable to fair-value changes in convertible notes and other instruments (non-cash)
• Q3 GAAP operating loss of $567 million; adjusted operating profit of about $2.46 billion
• Procurement and lease commitments total about $895.4 billion, mainly for computing capacity and data centers; about $70 billion is due over the next 12 months
• Cash and short-term investments totaled about $131.8 billion as of the end of September

⚖️ Why does this matter to crypto?
AI has been a central narrative for U.S. stocks and risk assets lately. Doubts about AI valuations have weighed on the Nasdaq, and BTC has come under pressure too, currently trading around $75,700, down about 6% over 24 hours. When risk appetite contracts, crypto markets are often among the first to be sold off.

📉 Key levels (BTC)
• Support: $75,200 (near today’s low)
• Resistance: $78,000 / $80,000
