🔴 NVDA: short the rebound｜AMD: don’t buy the dip｜MU remains weak
The previous call to short / don’t chase was right: AMD closed at 404 (-17%); NVDA at 181.6 (-9.3%); PLTR at 155 (-9.7%). The chip sector was brutally sold off overnight.
The Nasdaq closed yesterday at 24315 (-5.5%). AI infrastructure stocks were broadly hammered, and MU also plunged to 656 (-17%).
$NVDA closed at 181.6. A break below 200 accelerates the downtrend. If it rebounds to 185–190 tonight, short; a break below 178 could mean further downside. Admit you’re wrong if it gets back above 195.
$AMD gave back its gap gains and closed at 404. Don’t try to catch the falling knife; a rebound to 420–430 would be a potential short.
$MU Storage-sector valuation pressure isn’t over; still weak, so don’t buy the dip.
PLTR remains soft at 155; TSLA at 344 and INTC at 52 are also getting hammered. AAPL at 344 is holding up relatively well, but still be cautious about chasing.
Risk appetite is cooling. BTC is around 75,800 this morning and looks bearish; don’t count on it to single-handedly lift chip stocks tonight.
