While the broader market was bleeding, $PIEVERSE was surprisingly one of the few tokens in the top 100 still rising.
According to CoinMarketCap data, it gained 6.43% on November 5, leading the top 100; today, KuCoin’s price page shows it at around $1.37. At the same time, $BTC fell by more than 5%.
But what I really want to flag is the unlock on November 14 (00:00 UTC):
• Around 86.4 million tokens, or 8.64% of the total supply
• Worth approximately $100 million at the November 4 price
• An increase of around 29%–31% relative to the current circulating supply
• 25 million tokens each allocated to investor and foundation reserves
According to CryptoTicker, early investors bought in at around $0.0667, leaving them with substantial unrealized gains. However, an unlock doesn’t necessarily mean a sell-off, and the date has been public for a long time.
My take: a rally against the market trend combined with an approaching unlock could mean significant volatility. Watching whether large on-chain addresses transfer tokens to exchanges is more useful than guessing the direction.
