I cured half my information anxiety by splitting my bookmarks into three piles. Things like tokens, signatures, and consensus that will still hold up years from now—I learn them by heart. Processes, tools, and checklists—I keep them if I’ve tried them and found them useful. Hype about price swings and hot topics, and online arguments, expires the next day; just take a quick look as you pass by.

The panic that “it’ll be outdated as soon as I learn it” usually comes from treating things that expire overnight like textbooks and trying to study them. I used to have a ton of breaking news in my bookmarks. Looking back, there were plenty of articles I couldn’t remember a thing about.

I’m going to delete half the breaking news from my bookmarks. How much $BTC went up today will be outdated tomorrow; why people believe in it will still matter years from now. These are study notes, not advice.

Which level of stuff do you have the most of in your bookmarks?
