Seeing U.S. stocks and Bitcoin get hammered at the same time yesterday was painful.
$BTC

The Nasdaq plunged 5.5%, while the chip index crashed 12%. Nvidia, AMD, and all those stocks that had been riding high are now deep in the red. Bitcoin fell straight from above $80,000 to around $75,000, giving back its post-election gains in a single day. Leveraged positions got thoroughly wiped out.

We all know the reason: Democrats swept Congress in the midterm elections, and the market started worrying that AI and data centers could face roadblocks. The “AI narrative” that had powered the entire bull run is suddenly being repriced.

Honestly, when prices were rising, everyone said crypto and tech were part of the same story. Now that prices are falling, they really are moving in tandem. The question is:

Is this a sentiment-driven sell-off, or is the AI trade really coming to a temporary end?
If data centers really do face restrictions, can chips and computing power remain the market’s main theme?
At a time like this, will Bitcoin keep taking a hit alongside U.S. stocks, or can it chart its own course?

What do you think? Is this a chance to add to your positions, or are you staying on the sidelines? Share your thoughts in the comments.
