NU7 is live.

Block 3,543,405 was mined at 10:34 a.m. Beijing time today, and the upgrade officially took effect.

Three things changed.
Block times were cut from 75 seconds to 25, making deposits nearly three times faster.
Sixty percent of fees will be locked in a reserve and gradually returned to block rewards later; miners will receive only 40%.
The oldest Sprout pool was shut down entirely, with over 12,000 ZEC still in it—worth around $16 million. Those funds can no longer be moved.

The interesting thing is that the price has barely moved.
It’s now hovering around 1,311, nearly flat over the past 24 hours, with the 1,209–1,340 range still intact.
The market hasn’t weighed in yet on whether the upgrade’s rollout is a catalyst or a case of “buy the rumor, sell the news.”

I’m not calling a play on ZEC—just observing.
As for the broader market, BTC is still grinding above 75,000, and ETH is just a few dozen dollars away from 2,200.
Deribit settlement at 4 p.m. and nonfarm payrolls at 9:30 tonight are the main events today.

Personal analysis, not investment advice.
