An output worth 0.002 $DOGE looks exactly like ordinary change in the balance. You only see that something is inscribed on it when you open the output details.
An inscription is attached to a specific output, while the balance shows the total. The total doesn’t tell you which output carries the asset. The cleaner the list, the deeper this layer is hidden.
So the trouble comes from what looks like the most ordinary operation: if the signing page only says “Send 8,” you have to go to the next layer to see which outputs the transaction touched. The asset-bearing output might be spent along with the change, and the asset goes along with that transaction. Afterwards, it’s hard to tell whether it was transferred or used to pay the fee.
What matters to me is how much detail the signing page shows: a page that ends with a single amount doesn’t make clear which outputs the transaction touched. The option to consolidate small outputs has the same issue—you can’t see which ones carry assets before proceeding. NFA, just my personal opinion. #Dogecoin #Blockchain
