Amundi just put a tokenized share class of its flagship European equity index fund on public Ethereum.

On November 5, 2026, Europe’s largest asset manager launched a tokenized share class of Amundi Core STOXX Europe 600 — an index strategy covering 600 large-, mid-, and small-cap stocks across developed European markets. CACEIS supplied the tokenization technology and infrastructure. Shares were issued on public $ETH while staying fully integrated with the fund’s existing operating model, so conventional subscription channels remain open.

The launch extends Amundi’s digital-asset push beyond cash products: its first tokenized money-market share class arrived in November 2025, also with CACEIS on Ethereum. The firm says it aims to grow a broader range of tokenized funds for institutions and digital platforms, pointing to potential gains in accessibility, settlement speed, automation, and transparency as market rails mature.
