$VVV This 15m move dropped nearly 2%, with volume surging to 1.79x, but OI fell instead—the 1h notional change was -234K. Price down + OI down: a classic deleveraging picture, not fresh shorts piling in to drive the price down. More like longs giving up and pulling out.

The closing price just broke below the lower bound of the past 20 5m candles. Aggressive trade imbalance was -20.7%, and the buy/sell ratio was 0.66, with selling pressure clearly skewed to one side. The anomaly percentile was 70.2%, ranking 30th across the whole pool—not the worst, but still notable.

With this kind of setup, I usually don’t rush to chase shorts. Once the leverage has been flushed out, further selling can easily run out of steam halfway through. First see whether price can reclaim the lower bound; if it can’t, then we’ll see.
