$6.3 BILLION evaporated from Binance not because of a coding error, but because of an extremely sophisticated social engineering scam! Behind the biggest heist in crypto history is TraderTraitor, an elite hacking unit backed by the North Korean government.

This group doesn't exploit complex technical vulnerabilities. Instead, it takes advantage of human weaknesses: fake job offers, fraudulent programming contracts, and phishing are familiar tactics used to infiltrate employees' computers and money transfer systems.

TraderTraitor has been blamed for the $6.3 billion theft from Binance, as well as other major hacks, including those of Bybit and DMM Bitcoin. This provides an enormous source of funding for North Korea, with an estimated more than $6 billion stolen since 2017.

The risk isn't limited to major exchanges. Anyone can be a target. The increasing sophistication of these attacks is alarming and points to a serious cybersecurity threat.

Given the situation, are we vigilant enough against threats from state-sponsored hacker groups?
