Announced $NEAR QTC, a quantum-resistant asset that can be accessed privately across more than 30 networks from day one.

This took place during TOKEN2049 week in Singapore, where the network put quantum privacy at the heart of its message.

On the practical side, Robinhood Chain became available on near.com and Intents, and Confidential Intents were added to DarkSwap and Circuit.

The network also confirmed that ML-DSA is already live on mainnet, alongside Quantum + Privacy Day featuring Balaji and Zooko.

In AI, it added new models to NEAR AI Cloud, and Illia championed the idea that AI and finance should be private by default.

In governance, a new proposal was introduced in the House of Stake to reduce issuance. If approved, it could change the supply economics, but it is not yet a final decision. This coincided with research coverage from Bitwise, Grayscale, and Delphi Digital.

If you follow $NEAR, what matters most isn’t the number of announcements, but implementing the issuance reduction and maintaining cross-chain privacy. If successful, this could mean the network is delivering practical, usable privacy tools—not just promises.

In short: $NEAR The conversation around quantum privacy is moving from a slogan to a usable product.
