Another supertanker caught fire farther east; the two incidents are separate. A separate report near Qatar cannot be directly assumed to involve the same vessel. Oman’s discussions about restoring shipping do not mean that traffic has already resumed. The key question is whether the risks to shipping through this waterway will spread.
