The lower the long/short account ratio, the fewer long accounts there are relative to short accounts. Tonight, let's use $CAP as a live case.
Over the past day, the price is up 22.42% from this time yesterday.
Yet the ratio is lower than it was a day ago, now at 0.8365. Huh?

A late-night market recap: no new faces on today's strength leaderboard, and nobody dropped off.
$ARIA rose over the past day.
$EVAA fell over the same period.

I'm leaning bullish. I put more stock in shorts outnumbering longs but failing to push the price down, so for now I won't call the rally exhausted.
Neutral momentum is counterevidence, tempering my bullish conviction.

If the bears cite headcount as proof they can push prices down, pfft~. I call it “counting people at the elevator and declaring the car overloaded.”

Let the price chart tell me if I'm wrong:
Hold above 0.113, and the bullish case has room to run.
Fall below 0.0857, and my bullish view is invalidated—I got it wrong.

Would you write “0.8365 couldn't stop the rally” in your evening review,
or “0.8365 signals a cooldown”?
