How does the blockchain know that a transaction was really sent by you?
Bitcoin and Ethereum both use ECDSA signatures on the secp256k1 elliptic curve. After the Taproot upgrade, Bitcoin also added Schnorr signatures.
Ethereum transactions include a chain ID (EIP-155), so signed transactions cannot be replayed on another chain.
The most important thing to remember when managing your positions: before signing, check the operation type, the contract address you’re interacting with, and the amount shown in the pop-up. If you don’t understand it, don’t sign.
