When asked: Who is Juan Benet?
I usually answer this way: Juan Benet created the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), a content-addressed peer-to-peer file system. IPFS itself doesn't ensure that people store data long term; Filecoin uses token rewards to solve the question of “who will store it long term?”
$FIL 0.8014 (-9.83%)
