What Is Left for AI Stocks After the Midterm Election Shock?

The AI narrative has taken another hit following the Democrats' sweeping midterm victory, with investors becoming more concerned about potential data center restrictions, energy demand and tighter regulatory oversight.

Stocks like $IREN , $CIFR , $NBIS and $CRWV are particularly exposed because their growth depends heavily on expanding AI infrastructure.

But I don't think the AI opportunity is over. The next phase could simply become more selective.

1. AI demand
2. Power availability
3. Signed contracts
4. Funding and dilution
5. Regulatory clarity

For me, the next winners may not necessarily be the companies announcing the biggest AI expansion plans, but those capable of turning their investments into sustainable revenue and cash flow.

The market is becoming less willing to reward promises without execution.
