🚨 England RAISES interest rates for the first time in 3 years… Bitcoin holds near 80,000 👀

Today, the Bank of England moved interest rates, and the crypto market is gauging the impact.

🏦 They raised the key rate from 3.75% to 4%, the first increase since 2023. Eight of the nine members voted for that quarter-point hike, and one called for an even bigger increase. They warn that local inflation could approach 5% if energy price pressures don’t ease. For investors: money remains expensive in a major market.

🟠 Bitcoin: yesterday, Wednesday’s close was near $80,470. This morning, it’s trading around $80,000, with no crash following the news. It held on to yesterday’s rebound and is now testing whether that level can hold with higher rates elsewhere.

🔷 Ethereum near 2,410. Solana around 95. BNB near 715. The market looks stronger than it did at the start of the week, but it’s no longer running: it’s consolidating.

🌍 Meanwhile, Russia’s largest stock exchange confirms that starting December 1, it will be able to list Bitcoin and Ethereum alongside local stocks, with an annual limit of around $3,700 for non-qualified investors. Another regulated gateway as Europe tightens the cost of borrowing.

💡 What this means for your wallet: higher rates tend to cool risk appetite, but Bitcoin hasn’t broken down. If you’re holding on, watch U.S. employment data tomorrow, Friday, and see whether 80,000 remains a floor.

Do you think rates will stop the rebound, or has Bitcoin already digested the news? 👇
