Solana $SOL recorded the highest weekly decentralized exchange volume among blockchains, at around $14.36 billion—nearly double Ethereum’s volume.
Ethereum $ETH came in second with a volume of $8.15 billion, while Base ranked third with $6.93 billion in weekly decentralized trading volume.
Notably, Base is now just $1.2 billion behind Ethereum over the past 7 days, making the gap between second and third place relatively narrow. Meanwhile, Robinhood Chain dropped out of the top three, and Base returned to the leading group.
These are weekly figures, and they don’t necessarily mean the rankings will stay the same or the gap will remain narrow.
If you’re tracking chain liquidity, Base closing in on Ethereum could mean more competition for decentralized trading activity in the coming weeks, without guaranteeing any price direction.
Bottom line: watch weekly trading volume, not just the rankings; it shows where liquidity is actually gathering.
