$INJ Today’s price action caught me a little off guard.

It was the hottest asset of the day: up 7.7% over 24 hours, trading around $8.28, with $13.7 million in trading volume. The surprise isn’t that it went up, but how straightforward the catalyst was: Nasdaq approved Canary’s staked INJ ETF, ticker INJC—the first regulated INJ product in the U.S. After the news broke, INJ rebounded from its November 3 low of $6.82 to around $8.30, gaining nearly 22% in two days.

But the derivatives market was relatively subdued. Binance open interest was still down more than 10% over 24 hours, suggesting this move was driven more by spot buying and news-related flows, with leverage yet to catch up. The broader market also rebounded today: BTC held above $80,000, ETH rose 3.3%, and INJ was among the top gainers.

Key levels: $8.43 is the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level. The price briefly touched $8.46 today before pulling back, leaving an upper wick. Above that, watch $8.60, then the October 21 high of $9.42. To the downside, $7.77 is the first support, with strong support at $7.37. RSI climbed to around 74, so the short-term move looks a little overheated.

What to watch over the next 24 hours:
Bias: Bullish, but this is a news-driven spike, so be cautious about chasing it.
A sustained move above $8.43 on higher volume would put $8.60–$9.42 in focus. If volume fails to pick up and the price keeps getting rejected at $8.43, a retest of $7.77 becomes more likely.
Invalidation: A high-volume break below $7.77 would invalidate this bullish outlook.
Three things to keep an eye on over the next 24 hours: when INJC actually starts trading (approval doesn’t mean it goes on sale immediately), whether the broader market can hold above $80,000, and whether futures open interest recovers—a recovery would suggest new money is truly coming in.

Not investment advice; just a market note.
