Visa announced today: its new Solution Center at Paya Lebar Green in Singapore houses six global capability centers, with around 1,500 people focusing on AI agent commerce, next-generation payments (digital currencies / stablecoins / programmable payments), wallets and alternative payments, as well as cybersecurity and quantum computing.
It will work with local partners such as DBS, Nium and StraitsX, and is also participating in MAS's BLOOM multi-currency initiative. According to EDB, it will create high-value jobs in Singapore.
