🚀 In just one day, sentiment swung from fear back to neutral—do you believe in this rebound?

$BTC climbed back above $80,000, $ETH rose more than 4% in a day, and BNB and Solana followed suit across the board. The catalyst was the U.S. midterm election results: U.S. stocks surged, oil prices retreated, the dollar weakened, and risk appetite returned.

What’s more telling is the positioning: nearly $800 million in liquidations across the market over the past 24 hours, with short positions accounting for almost 70%—to a large extent, this rally was driven by bears being forced to “buy back.” The Fear and Greed Index also jumped from 34 to 50, returning to neutral territory.

But let’s pour a little cold water on things: Bitcoin spot ETFs saw net inflows of about $276 million on November 4, which is good news. However, ETFs have still seen net outflows overall since the start of November, and analysts warn that it’s too early to talk about a trend reversal.

My take: the rebound is real, but the trend may not have turned. Bitcoin needs to hold above $80,000 before we can talk about a reversal; if it can’t, this is just a nice oversold bounce. Before chasing the rally, ask yourself: are you trading this move, or betting on a direction?
