🤖 AI isn’t just for writing code—it’s making its way into factories! “AI + machinery” professionals with expertise in both fields are becoming a new must-have for the manufacturing industry.
Since the start of this year, the China Machinery Industry Federation has promoted the development of professionals skilled in both AI and machinery, launching industry-education collaboration projects covering the entire industrial chain to help schools train talent that better meets businesses’ actual needs.
Why is there such a strong focus on these professionals now? Because manufacturing faces a real-world problem: people who understand AI may not understand production lines or mechanical processes, while technicians familiar with equipment and factory workflows may not know how to use AI tools. Each side has its strengths, but there’s a shortage of people who can bring technology and real-world production together.
📌 My take: AI will truly transform manufacturing not by simply installing algorithms in machines, but by enabling AI to understand production needs and solve practical problems. Examples include predictive equipment maintenance, production process optimization, intelligent quality inspection, and automated control—all of which require people who understand both industry and AI.
🔥 This also shows that future competition in manufacturing won’t be just about equipment and technology—it will also be about talent. Those who integrate AI into production processes first will have the chance to pull ahead in efficiency, costs, and product quality.
AI boosts efficiency; people who understand the industry make sure it delivers real value.$CAP $ELSA $LYN
