$HUMA Price and funding costs have moved in opposite directions this time. This four-hour candle opened at 0.01669 and dipped to 0.01622 along the way, below the 0.01652 low of the candle from early morning; the last hour gained 4.0%, rebounding from 0.0165 to 0.01716, with the current price of 0.01718 sitting right at the shared high for the one-hour and four-hour periods.

But there was no volume behind the breakdown. This four-hour candle traded 47.46 million coins, 31% fewer than the 68.77 million in the early-morning candle.

The cost side has lagged even more. The funding rate is -0.2835%, further into negative territory than the early-morning reading of -0.2044%; the mark price of 0.01703 is at a 0.87% discount to spot, almost unchanged from 0.84% earlier. The price has rebounded, but the discount hasn't narrowed, and the funding rate hasn't turned around either.

There's another figure that's easy to misread: the 24-hour reading improved from -23.6% to -13.7%, which looks like a recovery, but the current price is up only 1.8%; most of the difference comes from the reference point—the high prices from yesterday's move have rolled out of the window.

To say that the breakdown was truly a false move, the price first needs to close above 0.01774 and hold there; if it breaks below 0.01622 again without volume, then this move isn't over yet. The opposite scenario remains on the table too: the rebound took just one hour, and a single four-hour candle at this volume level could give back the entire move.
