Yesterday I was chatting with an elderly family member. He said that back in the ’70s and ’80s, if someone in their village was caught sleeping around or reported by a neighbor, the village authorities would drag them through the streets for public humiliation.

Several people in their village had been paraded through the streets like that.

So, be glad you were born in this era.

Back then, if you went out for a hookup or got involved in an illicit relationship, you might well have been dragged through the streets the very next day. Hahaha.
