At the close on the same day, the Dow had gained 1,569 points, while Tesla fell 3.34%—that’s how divided the U.S. stock market was on November 4.

The Dow rose 3.03% to 53,356, the S&P 500 gained 1.58% to 7,688, and the Nasdaq climbed 1.44% to 25,736—all the indices finished in the green.
The biggest names led the way: 3M rose 9.55%, Microsoft gained 6.68%, Amazon climbed 6.12%, and the consumer discretionary sector rose 4.27%.
The laggards were just as clear: the energy sector fell 4.77%, and the industrials sector dropped 1.11%.
Crypto kept pace: $BTC was at $80,584, up 6.12% in 24 hours, with a high of $81,196; $ETH was at $2,427, up 8.68%.

The next thing to watch: when the U.S. market opens tonight, can the big tech leaders hold on to their gains, or will the lagging sectors drag the indices back down first? This is not investment advice.
