A few practical notes about Wei Dai.
The smallest unit of Ethereum, wei, is generally believed to be named after Wei Dai. 1 ETH equals 10 to the 18th power wei. New tokens are often named after early cryptographers; don’t follow the trend if the name has nothing to do with the project.
The white paper for $BTC cites Wei Dai’s b-money as its very first reference.
