The layer merchants connect to at $DOGE looks very different from—and is far more specific than—the slogan “Doge payments supported.” On the backend, GigaWallet wraps up the on-chain processes, so merchants don’t have to monitor blocks or calculate change themselves. It’s still in beta, but e-commerce plugins like WooCommerce can already connect to it. The signing side is handled by DogeConnect: users sign transactions themselves, and their private keys never reach the merchant. This division of responsibilities works because the backend manages the complexity of on-chain operations while private keys remain with users. Status note: the CMC project status page (compiled on 2026-11-04 14:50 UTC) lists GigaWallet as an ongoing beta project, with no public launch date. Product behavior may change during the beta phase. A merchant’s ability to accept payments does not mean users face no risks. Not investment advice. #Dogecoin #Web3
