Binance issued Security Incident Recovery Update No. 7 on November 4 at 23:26 (UTC+8). The company said about 98% of the affected assets had been replenished, with losses covered by the platform’s own funds and more than 100% of the required amount set aside. The remaining roughly 2% consists of less liquid tokens, which the company will continue to buy gradually through public markets and over-the-counter trading; this may take longer.

The same day, Binance also updated its Proof of Reserves: a new snapshot was taken on November 4 at 08:00 (UTC+8), expanding coverage from 10 tokens in the previous round to 44. The page is now public. It will take about 50 to 60 hours to complete the full zero-knowledge proof. After that, users who hold tokens covered by the proof will be able to independently check whether their account balances are backed by reserves of at least 1:1. Co-CEO Richard Teng also stressed that the aim is to let users verify this for themselves, rather than simply take the platform’s word for it.

The platform said it would continue replenishing the remaining assets, gradually resume withdrawals, and strengthen security measures. $BNB spot is around $717, up about 3.5% over the past 24 hours; $BTC is around $80,500.
