Yesterday I saw the public preview of Stripe Global Payouts: eligible US businesses can send USDC and OUSD to external wallets in more than 160 markets. Stripe says transfers usually arrive within minutes and cost 0.5% plus $0.50 per transaction. My first thought wasn’t that I envied businesses—it was about the final leg of getting paid myself: having the coins arrive in a wallet is just the beginning. What matters is whether they can be converted smoothly into money in my bank account.
Here’s what I do now: after receiving stablecoins, I first check them in PayAll, then withdraw them to my bank. I can see the transfer route and status myself, without having to guess across multiple apps. For cross-border payments, it’s only truly fast when the first leg is quick and the last leg is reliable.
