Don't rush to memorize the definition: why can't on-chain transfers be reversed?
There is no chargeback process like a bank's on the blockchain. If you send coins to the wrong address, you can only wait for the recipient to return them voluntarily. If they refuse to cooperate, there's basically nothing else you can do.
Once an on-chain transfer is recorded in a block and receives enough confirmations, no institution can arbitrarily reverse it. Wallet providers and node operators can't do it either.
Before withdrawing, make sure the recipient can receive funds on the network you selected. If the networks don't match, your assets may be unrecoverable.
