ETH is trading at $2,425.66 as of November 5, 2026, up 6.63% from the previous daily close. During the session, it moved between $2,226.44 and $2,450.00, highlighting a strong recovery after recent selling pressure.

The move is not only about price. Trading volume has risen to 1.35 times Ethereum’s seven-day average, suggesting that the rebound is attracting broader market participation. Large-order flow also shows a net inflow of 12,419.44 ETH, with an inflow rate of 2.65%. Together, these figures point to active buying interest rather than a low-volume bounce.

Momentum Turns Positive

Ethereum’s daily MACD has just produced a golden cross, with its histogram turning positive at 8.02 after being negative in the prior session. This signals that short-term momentum has improved following the recent pullback.

ETH has also moved above its key short- and medium-term moving averages. The current price is above the 7-day average of $2,283.34, the 25-day average of $2,375.87, and the 99-day average of $2,362.81. Reclaiming these levels can be an important sign that buyers are regaining control of the near-term trend.

The recovery is especially notable considering ETH touched a seven-day low of $2,174.08 before rebounding. It is now 11.57% above that low and 1.43% above its previous seven-day high of $2,391.55, meaning the market has pushed beyond the most recent trading range.

Caution Remains Despite the Strong Move

The rally has also pushed Ethereum’s RSI(6) to 72.06, an overbought reading. This reflects strong demand, but it can also mean that intraday volatility or profit-taking becomes more likely after a rapid move.

Meanwhile, the daily SuperTrend remains bearish at $2,490.32, slightly above the current price. ETH also remains 11.41% below its 30-day high of $2,738.00. These signals suggest that while short-term momentum has strengthened, the broader recovery is still developing rather than fully confirmed.

For now, Ethereum’s price action shows a meaningful shift in short-term momentum, supported by higher trading activity and net buying flow. Whether the move can sustain will depend on continued volume, wider crypto-market sentiment, and how ETH behaves around the current daily high.
