Apple has opened the Siri AI developer preview in betas of iOS 27.3 and other operating systems, allowing third-party apps to begin integrating cross-app actions.

This preview expands access to Siri AI for developers across the app ecosystem. Apps can use App Intents to provide content and actions, and can also link multiple actions together using “skills.” Users can call on app features with natural language.

Third-party integration is still in preview, and submissions to the App Store are not expected to open until spring 2027. Six languages are currently supported. The feature is not yet available in the EU, and Traditional Chinese is also planned for a later release.

As third-party apps are integrated, app coverage, the reliability of cross-app actions, and users’ habits around using Siri will be key priorities for the rollout.
