📈 Technical review: Is the rebound a genuine recovery, or just a breather after being oversold?

$BTC has rebounded from around $77,000 to $79,965, up 3.05% in 24 hours and nearing the key $80,000 level. The $79,000 area that markets had been watching is back in focus. Whether Bitcoin can hold above it will determine if this is a reversal or merely a rebound.

$ETH is stronger, trading at $2,407.46, up 5.30% over 24 hours and outperforming Bitcoin. This suggests funds are flowing back into major coins. BNB is at $713.63, up 2.46%, while Solana is at $94.47, up 1.36%. They are broadly following the move, but with less momentum than Ethereum.

Three technical points to watch: First, Bitcoin holding around $76,000 is a prerequisite for the rebound; a break below that level would put the trend back on weak footing. Second, Ethereum’s relative strength is a positive sign, but we need to see whether it can continue. Third, macro factors remain a wild card—the U.S. midterm election results have put the outlook for crypto regulation back in focus, and Friday’s jobs data could also disrupt the market. Before chasing the rally, check whether trading volume is keeping up.

As for strategy, don’t chase gains or go all in. Scaling in and using stop-losses matter more than trying to call the top or bottom.

Do you think Bitcoin will hold above $80,000 first, or retest $76,000 first?
