Honestly, I was just looking over the contract data, and one thing about $TRUMP caught my eye: open interest rose 19.83% over 24 hours, while the price was down 11.44%.
Open interest increasing as the price falls usually means short sellers are pushing the price down. But I’ve also seen plenty of cases where shorts got too crowded and were wiped out by a sudden spike, so in situations like this, I neither chase the short nor jump in to buy right away.
How do you interpret this?
