Two more standout earnings reports this season: Block and Procore both beat market expectations for the quarter, sending their shares up about 15% and 16%, respectively.

One is a payments technology company closely tied to the Bitcoin ecosystem; the other is a leading construction SaaS provider. Their better-than-expected results in two seemingly unrelated sectors suggest that business software spending and consumer payment demand aren’t as weak as the bearish narrative implies.

For the crypto community, Block’s results merit a closer look: continued progress in Cash App’s Bitcoin business and its Bitkey self-custody wallet shows that its $BTC ecosystem strategy has real commercial resilience. A public company demonstrating through its income statement that Bitcoin-related businesses can be profitable is more convincing than simply telling a story.

A recovery in risk appetite for traditional fintech stocks often spills over into crypto assets through sentiment. Rather than chasing rallies or selling in a panic, it’s better to watch for the next earnings report that can validate real demand.
