Dear Users,

As we previously promised, user funds are safe following this security incident, and Binance will cover the full amount of funds stolen in the incident. We have set aside funds from Binance's own funds totaling more than 100% of the assets required. Approximately 98% of the affected assets have now been replenished, and we will continue to acquire the remaining tokens through market and over-the-counter channels. As the remaining 2% of tokens have low liquidity, acquiring them is expected to take some time. We will continue to provide timely updates on our progress.

Additionally, on November 4, 2026, at 08:00 (UTC+8), we completed a new Proof of Reserves snapshot. It now covers 44 tokens, expanding beyond the 10 tokens covered in the previous snapshot. Users can view this snapshot on the Proof of Reserves page.

This snapshot provides the latest information on our fully backed reserves and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to transparency with users. Due to the computational workload, generating the complete zero-knowledge proof is expected to take approximately 50 to 60 hours. Once the proof is generated, users who hold any token covered in this snapshot will be able to independently verify whether their account balances are backed by reserves at a ratio of at least 1:1.

We will continue to work on acquiring the remaining assets, strive to fully restore withdrawal services, strengthen security measures, and proactively share the latest information as it becomes available.

Thank you for your support of Binance!

The Binance Team
