🔐 Crypto risk doesn’t end with the chart.

The Binance security incident and the gradual reopening of withdrawals offer an important lesson for those of us who trade.

Binance reported that it had replaced nearly 95% of the affected assets and would cover the losses. Meanwhile, Reuters reported net customer withdrawals of around $4.72 billion after withdrawals reopened.

These are two figures worth analyzing together.

When we think about trading, we tend to focus on price, support and resistance levels, and stop-losses. But there’s another risk too: where our funds are held and what happens if a platform runs into trouble.

When following assets like $BTC and $ETH, studying the chart isn’t enough. We also need to pay attention to security, the networks being used, and official communications.

This doesn’t mean that all users lost their funds or that we should act out of fear. It means that market risk and custody risk are different, and both deserve attention.

💬 Question: When trading, what do you consider most important: technical analysis, platform security, or both equally?
