🚨After tonight’s historic defeat to the Democrats, Donald Trump will still be president, but here’s what he won’t be able to do as easily anymore:
▫️PASS HIS LAWS:
The days of passing bills at his whim are over! Democrats can now block his proposals in Congress.
▫️FUND HIS MAGA PROJECTS:
Congress controls the federal budget. Democrats can block or limit funding for his major MAGA projects, especially building the wall.
▫️APPOINT JUDGES AND SENIOR OFFICIALS AT WILL:
The Senate plays an essential role in confirming many nominees. Democrats can therefore block some of his picks.
▫️Democrats can expand investigations into people around him and even launch impeachment proceedings against him.
