Schroders has brought an emerging-market bond fund to Solana, becoming the first to launch a product on the chain.
The firm manages $1.1 trillion and is issuing tokenized shares with Centrifuge, whose net asset value tracks the underlying fund. Until now, most on-chain offerings have been U.S. Treasuries and money market funds. This time, the fund holds emerging-market government and corporate bonds.
Tokenized RWAs are now worth $39 billion, with U.S. Treasury products accounting for $14 billion. Money is starting to flow toward assets that earn a spread.
