According to CNBC, SpaceX signed a multiyear deal with Qualcomm to supply network technology for Starlink Mobile, its U.S. mobile service. Qualcomm’s Dragonwing cellular infrastructure hardware and software will be used in base stations to provide high-capacity coverage and complement Starlink’s satellite capabilities. The rollout is planned to begin next year; financial terms were not disclosed.
