Imagine you buy $BTC , open your wallet, and can’t find what you expected to see.

Did you lose your money? Not necessarily.

Binance has different accounts, each with its own purpose:

1. Spot: where you usually receive the cryptocurrencies you buy on the Spot market.

2. Funding: used for features such as P2P, payments, and withdrawals.

3. Earn: where the assets you’ve subscribed to yield products appear.

4. Futures: for trading derivatives with leverage, which involves significant risks.

How do you check your balance?

Open Binance and go to Assets or Wallet, depending on your app version.

Check the different accounts and your transaction history.

If you have funds in one account and need to use them in another, the Transfer function lets you move them internally. These transfers between exchange accounts are free.

Important: a lower balance may also be due to price changes, open orders, or pending withdrawals. If you notice any transactions you don't recognize, contact official support.

Remember: knowing where your assets are is just as important as learning how to buy them.
