AMD’s data center revenue reached $8.55 billion in the third quarter of 2026, up 97% year over year; Intel’s revenue guidance for the next quarter came in below expectations.

AMD’s total revenue for the quarter was $13.38 billion, up 45% year over year. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose 2.63%, while Intel had previously suffered a one-day drop of 29%. As semiconductor stocks rebounded, Intel continued to face pressure from its below-expectations revenue guidance.

Whether Intel’s actual revenue improves next quarter, and whether its performance can keep pace as the industry strengthens, are key points to watch.
